Smart Stations was started in 2003 by Anna Chow.
Anna has an extensive IT and training background, although she is not a teacher by profession.
She is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University and worked and travelled in Asia for ten years
before returning to the UK with her young family. Moving to the Chester area four years ago,
Anna discovered the SuccessMakerŽ courses, and saw the opportunity of offering fun, interactive
Maths and English tuition to children in a relaxed and friendly IT environment.
As a working mother of two, Anna knows only too well the difficulties parents have in
juggling family life with additional tuition. Indeed, the first two pupils were her own children,
aged 10 and 11, and Anna says that they have certainly benefited from using the SuccessMakerŽ system.
During
the last 12 months the business has expanded from single premises
into three local schools, and now offers tuition to children during
and after school hours. It has grown from strength to strength,
with most of the advertising done via word of mouth from happy parents
and children. Without doubt the children enjoy coming to Smart Stations to learn,
and there are often children who have to be dragged
away by their parents at the end of each session!
Children wanting to do more Maths?
Can this be true?
Yes, luckily it can!
There
are plans to open more centres within Cheshire, so if you think your
local primary school would be interested in hosting Smart Stations as an after school club,
or if you are interested in finding
out where your child can enrol for a free
30-minute taster sessions then please call Anna on 07966-001093.
