Smart Stations is a fun place to learn and build skills in Maths and English. The work is presented on laptops with a variety of questions being asked in each session. Each session is different and this makes it more fun each week. The courses are audio backed so the children get to listen carefully to the explanations and learn to work confidently and independently.

Once the children are enrolled on the course the computer takes the time to find out what they know and don’t know, and then they work progressively up through the course building their skills.

A reward scheme is in place as we know just how important being praised is, and at the end of each session the children are awarded points depending on how well they have worked. These points are logged on their own personal “points awarded” sheet, and when they reach certain levels they get certificates to show what a fantastic achievement they have made. Throughout the course the children are praised and rewarded with prizes and certificates but more importantly by a tutor saying,

‘Well done, you are fantastic!’.
